Artist's Description
This is a Lion Fish, they are becoming very invasive in the Gulf of Mexico. When I started to paint this fish I thought how beautiful and intriguing, well, by the time I finished painting the last little squiggle of its spines, I felt quite accomplished in my task. This was a very time consuming, captivating, and fulfilling painting all at the same time. It felt really good to finish it. Hope you enjoy it.
