I first painted the piece in grey scale to work out most of my problems and then put together my palette to encompass all the colors I would need to paint a realistic piece of fruit. I am a self taught artist of only 13 years. I spent much time checking out books from the library on Painting and the Old Masters. I have combined some of the features of my favorite Old Masters and Impressionists to create my own style. Please feel free to comment and share my work with family and friends.
