Artist's Description
This wooden gate would be hand made by skilled carpenters or woodworkers, like my father. My father built a gate very similar to this at my home in Palm Harbor Florida. It was made of cypress boards which he milled, planed and sanded. As it aged it became grey with brown knot holes which made it very interesting to paint. As far as I know the gate is still standing after 30 years. Thanks Dad.
