This painting won 1st place in the Acrylic Landscape Division of the Florida State Fair. The painting is a compilation of photos of cypress trees, swamps, lily pads and birds. Cypress trees are definitely one of the most enjoyable trees to paint.
I am a self taught artist of only 13 years. I spent much time checking out books from the library on Painting and the Old Masters. I have combined some of the features of my favorite Old Masters and Impressionists to create my own style. Please feel free to comment and share my work with family and friends.
