I was mentoring a young high school artist and her favorite subject was history, so we decided to each pick a president from history that we felt inspired by and paint his portrait. As you can see I chose President George Washington.
I am a self taught artist of only 13 years. I spent much time checking out books from the library on Painting and the Old Masters. I have combined some of the features of my favorite Old Masters and Impressionists to create my own style. Please feel free to comment and share my work with family and friends. Thank you to my friends and family that have inspired, conjoiled and pushed me to exhibit my work and finally submit my work to this forum. I hope you enjoy my work.
